A bit more about my background

I am an experienced child care social worker, Family Court Adviser and Children’s Guardian with an excellent professional reputation amongst legal and social care agencies. I have a solid grounding in child development, attachment theory, risk identification, analysis and management. I produce, to agreed timescales, high quality evidence based reports that are compliant with the latest practice and legal requirements. I have considerable experience of giving evidence during proceedings.

My CV reflects over twenty-five years in social work within Children and Adult Services. This has included the assessment, risk analysis, management and support of children and families, older people, vulnerable adults, all age learning and physical disabilities, and those affected by mental ill health, drug, alcohol and substance misuse, and domestic violence. I have worked across culturally diverse communities within the East and West Midlands.
